I’m Nick Payne, the founder and principal visual practitioner at visuology.

With a background in management and public service, I have been working now as an independent facilitator, educator, and graphic recorder since 2004.

Visuology is about the use of visual language to help people to organise their thinking and create common understanding. It’s easier if you exploit the fact that the majority of people are visual thinkers. 

We work across platforms and disciplines endeavoring to find new and better ways to apply visuology to the challenges we are set.

We collaborate with organisations working in many different fields – from manufacturing to high-level government and international development – across Europe and further afield.
